Although I recently received 3 Serendipity candles, this is the first one I lit. i am impressed.
First thing I was happy about was how quick the shipping was. I had my candles in my hands within 5 days (3 business days) or ordering them. That was a great thing and likely one of the benefits of ordering from a Canadian company when you live in Canada.
I am partial to the 16 oz jars. I just find them so pretty and elegant looking, the way the neck tapers in. I am sure as well that the lid that twists on and off will help close it more tightly when not in use and help the scent last longer.
Of course i chose this scent because it sounded delicious. And it is that.
I do love the scent. I smelt it in stages at first. First the apple, then came some caramel, then a touch of cinnamon, then some vanilla, which maybe started like a bakery secnt a bit but started to smell like vanilla ice cream to me after, Then it all comes together more and more.
Very pretty calming scent.
One thing I noticed on using my first candle from this company is that they definitely are gentler and less harsh. In the past when I have not used candles for a while and light one again, I can feel a bit of "burning" in my chest the first few times I would guess from inhaling whatever chemicals they emit. I did NOT have this at all this time. So i am sure they ARE gentler and more helathy than that I used in the past. And that is a great thing right there.

Every one of our candles gives you hours of cozy lighting and scent for your home. With up to 80 hours of burn time per soy candle, you'll have plenty of peaceful moments ahead.
For your first lighting, keep the wick at its original length. This helps create an ideal melt pool, which sets the pattern for how your candle will burn in the future. After the first burn, trimming to 1/4 inch will help your candle burn cleanly.
What ingredients do you use for fragrance?
Your candle's scent comes from a careful blend of essential oils and naturally derived fragrance oils. We choose only clean ingredients - which means no phthalates, phosphates, or parabens. This creates beautiful aromas that won't irritate sensitive noses or fill your air with chemicals.
What’s special about your wicks?
We use pure cotton wicks that are completely lead-free. They're self-trimming, which means less maintenance for you. Our wicks are carefully sized for each candle to provide the perfect flame and best possible burn.
What type of wax do you use?
Our candles are made with 100% pure soy wax, grown by North American farmers. We chose soy because it burns cleaner and longer than traditional paraffin wax. Supporting local agriculture is important to us - that's why we source our soy from farmers right here in North America.
How do I burn my wood wick candle?
Light the whole wick: Run your flame across the full width of the wood wick until you hear a soft crackle.
First burn is key: Let your first burn melt the wax all the way to the edges (2-3 hours). This prevents tunneling later.
Keep it steady: Place on a flat surface away from drafts or fans for an even burn.
How do you handle shipping?
We deliver across Canada using trusted carriers like Canpar, UPS, and Loomis. Orders ship within 3-5 business days (excluding holidays), and we offer free shipping on orders over $125.
Add any special delivery instructions at checkout for smooth delivery. If you're not home when your package arrives, your carrier will leave instructions for pickup.
Damaged in transit? Send us photos within 48 hours, and we'll issue a store credit or refund right away.
